How to make a paper star

To make a star you need 6 lists of paper ( one for each corner).
Follow the picture instruction, please.

You have to glue the opposide corners (the same numbers together) but each time on a different side of your star. One corner is ready. You have to make six of them and connect all together.
Tomorrow, we'll ask Ania to do it again, step by step, and we'll make pictures.

Recycling

Last Thursday we went out and spotted 3 colourful bins opposite the road. These bins are used to recycle glass, paper and plastic.

What is recycling?
Recycling means taking materials from products you have finished using and making brand new products with them.
Who recycles?
Everyone can recycle. You can recycle at home and at school. Your parents and other adults can recycle at work.

Spiders

Do not be surprised, but we found spiders.
We decided to look for them because of the song

"Incy Wincy Spider" (press to watch and listen)

Incy Wincy Spider
climed up the water spout
Down came the rain
And washed poor Incy out

Out came the sunshine
and dried up all the rain
and Incy Wincy Spider
climbed up the spout again

Once we had learnt the song, we left the school in search of spiders.

We came back to finish our work

Body parts

Pupils are taught names of body parts during their English lessons.
They usually point at their own heads, noses, eyes, ears.
We sing this rap song, as well:

Touch your head, touch your nose.
Touch your tummy, touch your toes.
Left hand, right hand, clap, clap, clap.
Left foot, right foot, tap, tap, tap.

These are squirrel body parts.

The squirrel has:
a small head, a small nose, a big tummy, long legs and a fluffy tail.

Tree trunk rubbing

There are tall trees growing in front of our school in Jaźwina.

To see how the tree trunk looks like, the second grade pupils went out to check it.
Pupils had lists of paper and a colouring pencils with them.

Here are some of the results. It is easy to notice, they are not smooth.
